The FMOEC are hosting training camps for the following classes:
420, Laser and Topper, beginning Saturday 13th Feb until Friday 19th.
We look forward to welcoming around 100 sailors, their coaches and families to Schull.
Surrounded and sheltered by over twenty islands and with a mild climate supported by the Gulf Stream, Schull is renowned for being one of the best sailing areas in Ireland.
Our Dinghy Sailing Courses run weekly right through the summer and suit all ages and abilities from complete beginner to those looking to build up their skills on the water. We usually say minimum age of eight years, however we have had some very capable and enthusiastic “almost eights” in the past….
The courses are based on the Irish Sailing Association (ISA) 5 Level Scheme and are taught by experienced and qualified instructors in a safe and fun environment. They run for five full days, Monday to Friday, however we can be pretty flexible if your time in Schull is limited and it’s difficult to commit to a full course ( although we would usually recommend a minimum of two days).
